What This Position is All About

The coordination of Jewelry receipts through Receiving, Transfers and Returns.  Inspections to ensure jewelry is in saleable condition before moving to inventory.  Communication with vendors and buyers regarding receiving discrepancies or damage to new jewelry receipts.  Overall coordination of the area and jewelry associates.

You Also Have:

  • High school graduate required.  Post high school education is desired.  3-5 years of experience in a retail, wholesale, or direct to consumer inventory control function, preferably in an automated environment.

  • Possess articulate verbal and written and written skills.  Communicates in a timely and appropriate manner to all levels.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task when needed.

  • Excellent organizational and efficiency skills.

  • Analytical skills to identify issues, trends and proper solution to resolve any inventory issues.

  • Must have understanding of English language both written and verbal. Must be able to communicate understanding of English during the interview process.

  • The incumbent is required to possess sustainable physical requirements including but not limited to; standing for long periods of time (up to 10 hours), lifting up to 30 lbs repeatedly, walking long distances repeatedly, bending, stooping, climbing ladders or stairs repeatedly, manual dexterity of hands to process orders, push or pull up to 50 lbs.

As The Jewelry Processor, you will:



  • Receive, verify, and put-away jewelry in accordance with company standards.

  • Assist in resolving discrepancies between bulk cards and items received.

  • Performs quality assurance related activities on a daily basis including, but not limited to, Inbound Receipt Verification, checking quality, and cleaning of jewelry for outbound orders.

  • Package jewelry for outbound orders.

  • Perform data entry as required to ensure all transactions are entered.

  • Attention to detail

  • Maintain a neat and organized work area.

  • Cross-train and support the production departments as required.

  • Must present information and respond to questions from leads, managers, and associates.

  • Must define problems and identify possible solutions.

  • Must work independently.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
